The primary purpose for the book of 1 Peter was to help every true Christian understand God’s grace so we would stand firm in God’s grace. As we spend time in 1 Peter, we gain a better understanding of God’s grace in its fullest measure and learn how to stand firm in that grace while living in a world that is increasingly hostile toward Christians.
